Singer-Song Writer-Performer
Born in the "Jungle" of México City, Ana started her carrier as a young music reporter working for the main radio stations, music magazines and production companies in Mexico City (Radio-Activo, Expresion Musical, OCESA) collaborating and writing concert reviews.
After few years in the press-media world, Ana discovered that her true love for music was performing on stage. She became the lead singer of the Legendary Band "La Maquina del Sonido" with Armando Molina (Avandaro organizer) and Paco Gruexo, and also fronted “Los Corridos” with the Laboriel brothers.
Ana, well know for her powerful performances, her strong sexy voice and her flamboyant theatrical stage appearance creates her own unique style of LAtino-Power-Rock.
After gaining much experience in Mexico and at the age of twenty, Ana then decided the time was right for her to leave home. With fifty bucks to spare, a one-way ticket and the dream to break into the American music scene, Ana moved to Los Angeles to become the female front of the new movement of Spanish Rock in LA with the band “ LA Mixers”. Few years later with the support of former band members and following her own path and direction Ana ventures forward as a “Solo Artist” with the CD project title:

“A Solas…” produced by Guillermo Pascual had the recording collaboration and live performing participation of globally recognized musicians such as Carmine Rojas, Brian Tichi, Joe Travers, Al Pahanish, Jerry Best and Marcus Nand.
The controversial song “ Chinga Like a Loca” became Ana’s theme and trademark, opening the door in 2007 into the movie industry with the soundtrack for “Desert of Blood” an all-Latino horror film.
2007 also marks Ana’s big screen debut as an actress with her role as “Maya” in the Mexican – Canadian film “ The Dead Sleep Easy” with the participation of Martin Kove (Karate kid) the Legendary singer Alex Lora “El Tri” the world famous wrestler “Vampiro Canadiense” and Dave Courney a self-proclaimed former British gangster an author.
Ana’s carrier and trajectory in the music scene in Mexico as a young music reporter-singer and her path in LA as a music-performer for more than a decade was honored and recognized in the documentary of the history of Spanish Rock with her participation and narrative in “Rock n Roll Made in Mexico: From Evolution to Revolution” release in 2008.
During her carrier Ana has shared the stage with popular Rock & Pop bands in Mexico & Latin America such as "EL Tri", "Elly Guerra", "Aleks Syntek", "La Lupita", "Kenny y los Electricos", "Lucybell", " Victimas del Dr. Cerebro", "Heroes del Silencio, Rostros Ocultos" among others and performed in all main venues and clubs in Mexico and Los Angeles.

After gaining much experience in the Latin Rock Music Scene in
México, ANA then decided the time was right for her to move
to Los Angeles- to break into the American Music scene with the
Band
"LA MIXERS" as the lead singer. LA MIXERS originally
formed by one of the Greatest composer and guitar
player Giovanni Arriola , Oscar
Del Pinal(bass) and Greg Freeman (Drums) Her
presence in this band with the help of Giovanni, created an
expression and definition of her music style as " LATIN-POWER-ROCK ".
ANA has shared the stage with many of the most popular
and successful Bands in Mexico & Latin America: "EL

y los Electricos",

also with the mayor L.A. Local Rock en Español Bands.
Ana one of the few female "Rock En Español" Singers
in LA; succeeded, demonstrating her vast talents,with
her stage presence of exotic and exciting proportions-.Well know
for her powerful performances of energy and her strong-sexy voice-colorful/flamboyant
theatrical stage appearance. ANA's skills and range allows her
the flow from Ballads to Rock to Pop, with ease poise, and prowess
.
Ana Sidel has performed in all main venues and clubs in L.A.
such as the legendary House of Blues on
Sunset and Anaheim, B.B. King, The Key Club, The Avalon, The
Roxy, Whisky A GoGo, and The Knitting Factory among others.
Following her own path and direction ANA now ventures forward
as a "Solo" Artist; with
the support of her former band members, including the musical
& lyrical collaboration of their lead guitarist-composer,
and friend Giovanni Arriola.

whose music reflected his own musical influences -
Latin (Celia Cruz, Miguel Bosé, Santana), R&B (Stevie
Wonder, Brandy, and Bobby Womack), British Rock (David Bowie,
Rod Stewart, Mick Jagger), as well as Tina Turner, Nona Hendryx,
Billy Joel, Jewel, Carly Simon, David Broza and many, many others.
Brian Tichi recorded
the drums; some of his work either toured or recorded include:
Ozzy Osbourne, Zakk Wylde, Billy Idol,
Foreigner, Slash's Snakepit, Aerosmith (Guns & Roses), RUSH,
Stevie Salas, Nickelbag, Carmine Rojas, Bernard Fowler (Rolling
Stones), Vinnie Moore, Sass Jordan, Gilby Clarke, Ted Nugent,
Lynyrd Skynyrd and others.
“A Solas..” included 10 songs and two extra tracks:
The Re-mix version of A solas and the English version of Chinga
Like a Loca title: “Wild Jungle Woman”.
"A Solas..." has variations of Rock, Pop, & Ballads--offering
an alternative-mix-music- selection to the LA-Latin music scene
from a voice that always stand out.
